Join us for a night steeped in black eyeliner, raw emotion, and unapologetic angst as we host Emo Nite: Sad Words, Black Hearts, a literary gathering for the moody and melodramatic.

So grab your fishnets, skinny jeans, Hot Topic tees, and eyeliner so sharp it cuts through the darkness—and immerse yourself in a cathartic night of feelings. Whether you're channeling the heartbreak of a Dashboard Confessional ballad or the existential gloom of a Bright Eyes deep cut, this is your space to let it all out on the page.

Attendees are invited to write and share their most soul-wrenching poetry, personal narratives, or fiction—anything steeped in angst and yearning. Open mic time will be available at the end of night for those brave enough to bare their bleeding hearts.

We'll be playing all your favorite emo tunes—think My Chemical Romance, Paramore, Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco and more—so you can cry, write, and vibe in perfectly tortured harmony. Light snacks and a “Summertime Sadness” cocktail will be served.
