Description: Join us for the Redbud Writing Project’s annual one-day revision retreat, hosted at the Work in Progress Art & Story Studios, a 10-acre forested property and rustic event space in Pittsboro. Arshia and Emily will kick off the day with a mix of prompts, lectures, brainstorming, and one-on-one meetings to discuss your work in progress. In the afternoon, writers will have time to work on their projects by themselves,  as well as the opportunity to walk around the grounds and gain inspiration and perspective from the peaceful surroundings. At the end of the day, we’ll celebrate your hard work by doing a book swap.

This retreat is ideal for writers who are working on revising a project, whether a novel or a short story, but writers who do not have a piece to revise are welcome too.

Snacks and drinks will be provided--make sure to bring a brown bag lunch too!
