In this course, we’ll do a deep dive into intermediate and advanced craft topics including psychic and narrative distance, developing your prose and voice, strengthening your structure by diagramming a story, communicating emotion in your work, and playing with and subverting reader expectations. Most importantly, this course will focus on revision: how you can take your work from a rough draft and transform it into a polished story.
